A dream defered
The two images that i found was “crust and sugar over” and also i found, “dry up like a raisin in the sun”. The images help the poet make his points because doing that, he uses imagery in his poem, giving more of a sense of belief and understanding in what hes trying to get through to his readers. Also, imagery communicates a different language with the readers, a more profound, artistic image, than if he would just give plain, meaningless words. So basically, imagery helps the poet say what he has to say.
