My Shining Star

The rushing waves,
filter through, the creative
walls of my imagination.
Like raindrops through clouds.
On a stormy day.
Serenity.
For once,
over powers rage,
and does’nt slip away for
a while,
like the sand after the
tide comes in, that get’s
swept away with each
gasping pull…
I belong there.
Like lines belong on my
sheet of paper that helps
write out each and
every one of my daily
experiences, at that
unique, ever-changing place…
I love every feeling I
endure there.
From the rush of the wind,
after you’ve caught a wave,
to the sound of my board,
dragging along the sand…
Don’t take me away…
Please.
It’s my only place
to forget the past,
and move on…
Just THAT place.
That SINGLE place.
That each and everyday,
creates a new
shining star,
and a silver turning point,
in my life.

This is a great poem. I love the way you make the nature in the story seem so peaceful. I like how you relate the nature to your life. Keep on writing great poems
